Katie is a Steiner Institute of Esthetics graduate who specializes in facials and waxing.  She also holds a certification in Facial Cupping. “I aim to create a calming and relaxing experience for my clients. I customize each facial to achieve optimal results.”  Katie educates her clients on their skincare routine so they can feel more comfortable and confident with their regimen and their results.  She believes a good client experience begins with relating to them on a personal level.  Selflessness and patience and going the extra mile will make each client feel special. She explains, “The power of touch is transforming. This  a very emotionally rewarding profession.”

Diane Mueller, Esthetician & Skin Care Department Manager

Diane offers customized facials, eyebrow shaping, full body waxing, body treatments, relaxation techniques, aromatherapy and the Shirodhara treatment to her clients.  After training at Von Lee International School of Esthetics,  she went on to be an educator for a major spa skin care line, in addition to acquiring advanced certifications with Eminence Organics, Aveda and Dermalogica.  “I believe all my clients deserve an experience that exceeds their expectations. I use my love of knowledge, and my experience to teach my clients how to take care of their skin, so they can see the difference both inside and out.” Her favorite part of her job is having a client come to her feeling stressed and over-committed, and leave feeling relaxed, calm & centered.
 

Julie Newton, Esthetician

Julie achieved her professional training at the Aveda Institute of Maryland. Julie offers facials, waxing, makeup artistry and Novalash Eyelash Extensions. She says, “Being an esthetician is much more than waxing and facials. I have an impact on people’s lives. I want every one of my clients to feel special and beautiful, because they are!” What a good client experience means to Julie begins with building a trusting relationship between her and her client so that they know that she will always lead them in the right direction. She loves meeting new people and making new connections.
 

Lisa DiCarlo Peterson, Esthetician

A veteran to the industry, Lisa has provided services to local celebrities, athletes and government officials. Lisa’s philosophy is, “as we age, less is more. Taking the best care of your skin first (your canvas) and minimal makeup will be all you need.” She believes that if you are experiencing a 15 minute wax or a 90 minute facial. Her favorite service to perform is a brow wax. She believes wholeheartedly that a well groomed brow is essential. It’s an instant gratification service that make a client feel and look put together with minimal fuss.
